Changing the input on an LG TV is a relatively straightforward process. Whether you are trying to switch the input to allow you to watch a DVD or play a video game, the process is relatively simple. With just a few steps, you can be watching your favorite show or playing your favorite game in no time.
Turn on Your LG TV
The first step is to turn on your LG TV. Make sure it is plugged in and that you can see a picture on the screen. Once it is on, you will see the home screen and will be ready to continue.
Find Your Remote and Input Button
The next step is to find your LG TV remote. On the remote, you should see a button labeled “Input” or “Source”. This is the button you will need to press to switch your input.
Press the Input Button
Once you have the remote in your hand, press the “Input” button. Doing so will open a menu on the screen that will show you the available inputs you can switch to. Depending on the model of your LG TV, you may see different inputs. The most common inputs are HDMI, AV, Component, and PC.
Select the Input You Want
To select the input, simply use the arrow keys on your remote to highlight the input you want to switch to. Once highlighted, press the “OK” button on the remote to switch the input. If the input is a device, such as a cable box or DVD player, make sure that device is turned on and connected to the TV before selecting the input.
Enjoy Your Show or Game
Once you have selected the input, you should be able to use the device connected to it. So, if you have a DVD player connected, you should be able to watch the DVD. Or, if you have a video game console connected, you should be able to play the game. Enjoy your show or game and have a great time.
